What to expect in during your first appointment
The first step is asking you to complete a preliminary medical history form to give us a better understanding of your overall health.
We will then perform a thorough examination of your mouth, jaws, teeth and gums, so we can assess your dental well-being and understand what we’re starting with. This will include x-rays so we can see every part of the tooth. The areas underneath, between and inside are just as important!
Next we will take the time to discuss any concerns you may have, and what you’d like to achieve from your dental. In order to create a treatment plan that works for you, and understand the factors affecting your oral health, the dentist will then discuss your overall lifestyle. Everything from healthy eating, smoking cessation and diet tips are all things we can offer a helping hand with.
